We are now accepting visiting boats on our moorings. Please email to book a mooring.
St Mawes Harbour has 69 moorings that are let on a seasonal basis from 1st April to 31st October. Additionally we have 28 visitors moorings that can be booked via contact with the Harbour Office.

Note: In this schedule ‘The Harbour’ means the water included within a line drawn from ‘Castle Point’ on the north to ‘Carricknath Point’ on the south and a line drawn from ‘Polvarth Point’ on the east to ‘Amsterdam Point’ on the west. ‘The Inner Harbour’ means the water inside a line drawn from the ‘Pier Head’ to the eastern end of ‘The Idle Rocks Hotel’.
PART A
Rates for tying up, landing passengers, & coming alongside the Pontoon or Harbour Quay
Commercial Vessels landing only:
- Vessels licensed for up to 12 seats: £16 per visit
- Vessels licensed for up to 50 seats: £42 per visit
- *No landings permitted one hour either side of Low Water
- Vessels licensed for up to 100 seats: £63 per visit
- *No landings permitted one hour either side of Low Water
- *Without Authorisation
PART B
Anchoring and mooring rates outside the Inner Harbour:
- Anchoring Vessels:
- Vessels up to 15m, per 24 hours @ £1.00 per mtr.
- Over 15m by arrangement only.
- Visitor Moorings:
- Vessels up to 10m, £8.00 (Day visit), £25.00 per night
- 10m to 12m, £10.00 (Day visit), £30.00 per night
- 12m to 15m, £15.00 (Day visit), £38.00 per night
- Day visits to be vacated by 1600 hrs
- Private Moorings (per season):
- Vessels up to 10m, £410.00
- 10m to 12m, £570.00
- 12m to 15m, £900.00
- Over 15m by arrangement only
- Managed Moorings (per season):
- Vessels up to 10m, £990.00
- 10m to 12m, £1386.00
- 12m to 15m, £2426.00
- Over 15m by arrangement only
- Summer Pontoon use:
- Short stay vessels under 3m, £5.00
- Short stay vessels 3m to 5m, £10.00
- Weekly vessels up to 3m, £60.00 per week
- Weekly vessels 3m to under 5m, £175.00 per week
- Berthing is at the discretion of the Harbour Master
- Vessels over 5m allowed to berth on the Pontoon, with the permission of the Harbour Master or Pontoon Supervisor, £12.00(day only)
